The God of the Roman Catholics is not the God of the Bible

There is a God who caused the Bible to be written in a language understandable by human faculties. To understand Him, He shares to us His feelings and emotions.

PSALMS 103:13
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

ISAIAH 49:15
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

In the preceding verses God reveals to us His feelings and emotions that by our own emotions and feelings we can understand.

The God of the Bible is an exact God, in detail, in time, in needs, in number, and in all other senses necessary for us to acquire what can be exactly called “wisdom!” The wisdom that comes from God is real wisdom. In contrast, the wisdom of this world is lunacy!

I CORINTHIANS 1:20, 25
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

We underscore this difference in the midst of man insisting on his own wisdom and trying to measure God by his own conceit.

It is in God’s wisdom that He created things perceivable (like the universe) and things beyond the perception of men.

PSALMS 104:24
O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

COLOSSIANS 1:16
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Here’s an excerpt from an article written by Nola Taylor Redd, SPACE.com Contributor dated December 24, 2013. It talks about scientists trying to discover the age of the earth, at the same time emphasizing their limitations in knowing everything. Scientists are still limited in that they can only know what they can see but not what they cannot, she said.

How can a God, who created the spectacular universe and the unperceived wonders beyond its boundaries, lack or come short of wisdom and teachings in the Book, which He Himself authored?!!!

No professor in any field of science and education will write a book lacking in wisdom to produce another professor! A good teacher teaches everything he knows to produce students of his own caliber that will finally be his crowning glory as a teacher.

LUKE 6:40
The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

MATTHEW 10:25
It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

God Himself and His Son Jesus Christ authored the Bible. God ordained prophets of old to write His words and His will, and inspired later prophets to write and affirm information of those of the former.

ZECHARIAH 1:4
Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.

DANIEL 9:2
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

Jesus Christ willed that “all” His teachings be written by the Apostles and Evangelists.

I CORINTHIANS 14:37
If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

REVELATION 1:11
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Will God Almighty and the Savior Jesus Christ allow that their written teachings and instructions be found wanting so as to give way to traditions and invented dogmas of the Roman Catholic? What a stupid thinking!

Here’s what they are saying:

“The lesson, though, is this: relying on the "Bible alone" is a bad idea; we are not to rely solely on Sacred Scripture to understand Christ's message. While Scripture is "given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16-17), it is not sufficient for reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness.” (https://www.fisheaters.com/septuagint.html)

These people are anti-Christ, trying every possible escape to include their invented fallacies to be accepted as biblical truth! We are not to rely solely on Sacred Scripture to understand Christ's message? In using the verse 2 Timothy 3:16-17, they used it in a perverted silly scheme which contents directly mention them. Note what they say: “(2 Timothy 3:16-17), it is not sufficient for reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness.” A very noticeable stupidity!!! Let us consider the verses.

II TIMOTHY 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

An elementary student may understand what these Catholic mentors do not because of the darkness that covers their mind! The concluding paragraph tells us “That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works,” meaning that the inspired scriptures is sufficient to teach a believer to be “perfect.”

Perfect in the Bible means “whole,” not wanting of anything, is complete. The Greek word ἄρτιος was used. “Thoroughly furnished” unto “all” good works! The quantifiers used by Apostle Paul, “thoroughly” and “all” affirm the completeness of the Holy Scriptures. There is no reason why a book intended by God to be an instrument of salvation to mankind be lacking in any essence of truth needed for its purpose!

II TIMOTHY 3:15
And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

The Catholic belief in the Bible mingled with their stupid inventions of dogmas, traditions (written and invented), papal encyclicals and pronouncement ex-cathedra are apparently the works of anti-Christs! They are not Bible-based but are more devices of men!

II PETER 1:16
For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

To safeguard the faith of Christians and the things that they should believe in, the apostles gave instructions from the Lord that, “you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written”!

I CORINTHIANS 4:6 (RSV)
I have applied all this to myself and Apol'los for your benefit, brethren, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another.

Even an angel from heaven, having invented unwritten doctrines, must be cursed!

GALATIANS 1:8
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

The phrase, “angel from heaven” aggravates the intensity of this warning about the coming of invented doctrines beyond what is written by the Apostles. It is a possibility forewarned about. It is an attendant circumstance mentioned that makes more serious this warning. Who would think that an angel from heaven have in mind polluting the word of God? But since it is mentioned in the Bible, it is sure to come or has already come and we are to be alert and circumspect about it. We should not be willing to take risks.

Another favorite escape goat of the Catholic Church to introduce their invented doctrines to their blinded followers is John 20:30.

JOHN 20:30
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

Note that those that were not written are “signs” or σημεῖον in Greek which means “miracles,” they are not teachings or instructions or words to believe and live by! Other things were not written are:

JOHN 21:25
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

The word used is ποιέω in Greek means, “things done or made” - not teachings or instructions. Teachings and instructions that form part of the Christian faith are complete in the Inspired Scriptures! There must be no room or a little space for man’s invented doctrines and instructions to come in polluting God’s word!

PROVERBS 30:6
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

God is exact when He said:

JEREMIAH 26:2
Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD's house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:

He will surely penalize disobedience!

REVELATION 22:18-19
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Thus we can conclude with certainty that the Catholic faith is “WRONG” when they say that the Bible is not enough “for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”!

To all my Catholic readers, may the God of the Bible open your understanding.

God bless you.

The Holy Scripture is sufficient enough for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. We won't need any other book.

    1. But that's the issue... it is sufficient enough for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness with the backing of the Church. Sacred Tradition and Scripture guided by the Magisterium; God's Church, with whom He stated He would be with until the end of ages.
The Scripture itself is certainly the word of God, but just by me writing here proves that interpretation separates one brother (or sister) from another. Who, then is the ultimate authority of Scripture? Luther stated that it was up to each individual to be priest and translator, but within his lifetime cursed the very idea at a later time.
We need a true interpretation of the Scriptures. We find that in the Catholic Church, so few others claim to have absolute truth; however, the Catholic Church does have absolute Truth.

      God Bless, all.

Catholics sad to say do the opposite.

So please do your selves especially your souls a very big favor. Read the Bible and follow teachings of Lord JesusChrist. Shun invented teachings, traditions, dogmas, etc. Ignore what your leaders are saying that The Bible is not enough for us to be saved. Teaching that is blasphemy against God.

    1. It is not surprising that during masses of Holy Catholic they just select few verses..to read to their followers verses that would not contradict to the invented man made teachings of their leaders and truth are hidden from them who in general have no interest in reading the bible and that's why they are under control of deceit and lies because of the fact that they really don't believe in the bible..as it is written: John 8:31
[ Dispute Over Whose Children Jesus’ Opponents Are ] To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

      Juan 8:31Ang Dating Biblia (1905) (ADB1905)

      31 Sinabi nga ni Jesus sa mga Judiong yaon na nagsisisampalataya sa kaniya, Kung kayo'y magsisipanatili sa aking salita, kung magkagayo'y tunay nga kayong mga alagad ko;

      Titus 1:16
They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.

      Tito 1:16Ang Dating Biblia (1905) (ADB1905)

I agree, with Mr. Controversey X, that these are the Anti-Christ.

    2. Huh? You cannot even find the name of your Church in the Bible, how can you say that? Have you done some research on how your catholic founders invented the name of your Church? What is written in the BIBLE is the CHURCH OF GOD and never the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church! Try to read YOUR BIBLE as simple as that you do not need to Google it! You can do it without the help of the Internet.

  12. For many years, we had been under the control of invented fallacies of Catholic faith, their erroneous and non-Bible based teachings we blindly followed are part of our system and thinking we are serving God.

The true God saves us on this religious cruelty. We are now open-minded by hearing the truth written in the Scriptures, that catholic leaders refuse to teach or I say, they had nothing to teach. As members of MCGI, let us do our part by supporting our leaders to propagate the unblemished gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with God's help and mercy.

Let our catholic friends and relatives reach the knowledge that we all learned in Church of God.

To all Catholics, it may sounds disrespectful to your eyes and ears, but please try to listen by heart and not jump into conclusion that fast. Read and analyze if the author of this blog infuse hatred to his readers as others presumed or he is telling the truth that we need to know for our soul's salvation. 15. The reasons maybe why Catholics will not rely solely in the HOLY BIBLE:
    1. They have not understood what were written therein.
    2. They have no intentions of truly adhering into the BIBLICAL doctrines.
    3. They have their own ill motives of inserting anything they wanted to.

In short, they are founded not to obey GOD'S commandments. These words they have published are purely blasphemous manifested in their acts. Look and observe how countries ruled by majority them behaves like the Philippines & Brazil--- FILLED WITH CORRUPTIONS! Catholics are sowing and nurturing evil spirits. PERIOD.

    2. Marlon, The reason why we consider the Catholics propagator of faith as sower of evil spirits is because of 2 Timothy 3:16-17, saying that the Bible is not enough as the source of knowledge and wisdom to learn spiritual things. We really do not intend to put in the minds of the reader that we judge a person. And if we judge, we judge accordingly (on the manner they interpret the Bible) base on truth. Telling the people that they are wrong is not judging them but correcting them about the Truth. Evil spirit are the one doing it using them(Catholic propagator of faith) we are condemning this spirits.

  19. If the Bible is not sufficient enough for a man to be holy, religious leaders are welcome to add or invent teachings for their own interest. And this is happening to Catholic church- full of inventions!

That is why everything is written for us to be holy, so that none will introduce other teachings except of Christ, anti-Christ are them who assume that the Bible is incomplete.

Alarming and noticeable is this - they can invent fallacies as additional to Bible teachings and oblige their members to follow them, while those already available to be taught as written in the Scriptures are kept and hidden to their members.

  20. RCC got so many wrong teachings, that is one of reason why many people establish their own churches which they themselves invent cause of the love of money which is the root of all evil.

  21. First off, the blog quoted Revelations, and shows that this is a proscription against adding to the Bible.

    18. For I testify to every one that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add to these things, God shall add unto him the plagues written in this book.

The blog is incorrect. The Bible at the time this was written was not a book, but a loose collection of scriptures, or books. What is written here is that no one should add to the prophecies written within the book of Revelation. This blogger has misinterpreted this verse.

Secondly, the blog fails to prove that the Church has modified or added to scripture. No bible I own has a book of Pope Gregory, or the Book of Saint Jerome, or any additional books for that matter. The Church has not added to scripture.

The traditions of the Church, such as the sacraments, are drawn from the scriptures. This is in no way adding to scriptures, as the blogger suggests. The Church did not add a book or a word to scripture.

Protestants, on the other hand, have altered scripture, by adding a word to one verse, and cutting out seven books, among other alterations; so the accusation that the Church has added to scripture is another falsehood in the long line of falsehoods espoused by this blog.

    1. Yay! So appreciative of this comment. If anyone has confusion on what the Catholic Church truly teaches, you can read the Catechism. It goes through the entire Nicene Creed and gives detailed explanation to the creed, as well as describing the origins of the sacraments. The Catechism provides scriptural defense to the Church's Creed and it also includes the saints' words, and more. Pope St. John Paul the Great put Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict) in charge of the production of the Catechism. Enjoy and fall in love with the Church and her wisdom!

Have you forgotten that the Author of the Bible is Lord Jesus Christ and God Almighty himself, the God who declares things from the beginning to end? Is it surprising to you that He can keeps those writings wrote by prophets and apostles and compiled as the Bible today? You knew not the God of the Bible if you have that kind of thinking!

The blog of Mr. Controversy in all aspect of life is true, correct and logical. The mind of a person who lean on his own understanding cannot comprehend simple things. Blinded-eyes cannot see the differences especially if he choose not to discern at all.

Catholic church authorities invented doctrines not written in the Bible and injected it to their members as requirement to attain salvation. Infant baptism for example. Have you ever read in the Scripture about infant baptism? But RCC required it, if not done you will be placed in Limbo (which was abolished by your pope Benedict).

Unsolicited advice, take your chance now to investigate and learn Biblical things that you cannot learn in RCC. May God open your heart.

    3. From Mateo: Have you forgotten that the Author of the Bible is Lord Jesus Christ and God Almighty himself, the God who declares things from the beginning to end? Is it surprising to you that He can keeps those writings wrote by prophets and apostles and compiled as the Bible today? You knew not the God of the Bible if you have that kind of thinking!

My Response: The Scriptures were not fully assembled as the Bible we know today until after the death of the last Apostle. The Church compiled and finalized these books. Although the Holy Ghost inspired the authors of the scriptures, Our Lord did not hand to His Apostles a completed Bible. This, He left as part of the mission of the Church, as part of the Sacred Tradition of this Church.

From Mateo: The blog of Mr. Controversy in all aspect of life is true, correct and logical. The mind of a person who lean on his own understanding cannot comprehend simple things. Blinded-eyes cannot see the differences especially if he choose not to discern at all.

My Response: I would disagree with your assertion that this blog is entirely true. His interpretation of Revelation 22:18-19 are not in accordance with the texts. Here is the section of Revelations:

[18] For I testify to every one that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add to these things, God shall add unto him the plagues written in this book. [19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from these things that are written in this book.

It is clear from this section that the book in question is not the Bible, but the Book of Revelations itself. This distinction is lost on the author of this blog, who maintains that the verse is about the whole Bible, though the verses themselves make clear that it refers to adding to the prophecies of the book of Revelation.

From Mateo: Catholic church authorities invented doctrines not written in the Bible and injected it to their members as requirement to attain salvation. Infant baptism for example. Have you ever read in the Scripture about infant baptism? But RCC required it, if not done you will be placed in Limbo (which was abolished by your pope Benedict).

Limbo was not abolished by Pope Benedict, despite flawed and biased news sources saying otherwise. The secular media really has a difficult time understanding the Church. As for infant baptism, there is no prohibition on this practice. Also, whole families were baptized by the apostles:

From Acts of the Apostles, 2:38-41 … [38] But Peter said to them: Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. [39] For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all that are far off, whomsoever the Lord our God shall call. [40] And with very many other words did he testify and exhort them, saying: Save yourselves from this perverse generation. [41] They therefore that received his word, were baptized; and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.

Notice that children are specifically mentioned in the promise of baptism. This is far from a prohibition on infant baptism, but can be seen as permission for infant baptism. It is interesting that those who are against infant baptism have yet to show any scripture that prohibits this practice. Their prohibition is their addition to Scriptures.

From Mateo: Unsolicited advice, take your chance now to investigate and learn Biblical things that you cannot learn in RCC. May God open your heart.

My Response: Take your own advice. This blog has so many erroneous notions about the Church, and the teachings and practices of the Church, that I could write an entire book about them. However, these few examples are included so you may, hopefully, realize that this site isn't perfect, and does contain errors.

  23. Reply to @ReelMusiconline

As Mr. Controversy re-quoted Revelation 22:18-19, @ReelMusiconline accused the blog as incorrect and the author as mistakenly interpreted the verses, just because of his catholic views that addition and subtraction of words of prophecy is prohibited only in the book of Revelation, while others are not affected. This catholic views are wrong! Are prophecies that will lead us to salvation only be found in Revelation? Prophecies are not only prediction or foretelling of future, it is also sound doctrines taught by prophets and apostles. Even apostles prophesy to members of the church. And those doctrines came from God thru Christ are prophecies that are prohibited to add nor diminish.

    The Catholic Church deceives many people by adding teachings that are not Biblical. And teaching not things already written. Infant baptism is not a doctrine from Christ, infants need not to be baptized to reach heaven. Apostles do not baptize infants. In Acts 2:38-41, Peter with the other apostles baptized those who received and believed on what they have taught to them (v41). Also the 'promise' mention in the verse (v39) is not promise of baptism as you suggested, but the promise written in 1 John 2:25;

1Jn_2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

This is not a surprise how you interpret verses by your own understanding just to suffice RCC' interest.

Even if you do not want, I will still take my chance to say it again (thanks be to God for the opportunity): Unsolicited advice, take your chance now to investigate and learn Biblical things that you cannot learn in RCC. Try to listen to Bro. Eli Soriano of MCGI. May God open your heart.

Thank you for having time to reply on my comment above.
With this, let me share to you things I learned from Bro. Eli Soriano with regards to your post and I am sure he will correct me if I mention something here that are not Biblical.

As I read your reply it seems you hold on a fallacy that you learned from RCC authorities that only the prophecy written in Revelation are prohibited by God to be added nor diminished and not the entire Bible. Well, with that understanding, no doubt RCC invented lot of teachings inculcated to its members.

Reveletion 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Prophecies are not always prediction of the future, the Bible told us to keep the words of prophecy to receive the promise. Those prophecies are teachings / doctrines spoken by the prophets and apostles.

2Pe_1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Prophesying is a gift from God.

    Rom_12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

Now, all the doctrines coming from the mouth of apostles sent by God are things we shall keep, added not and diminish not.

    JEREMIAH 26:2
Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD's house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:

We, members of MCGI are taught by our leaders to keep those words of prophecy written in the Scripture so we maybe perfect. As Bro. Eli mentioned and stated,

    I TIMOTHY 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

In all sense a man can perceive, this blog is correct, Biblical and logical. It just happened that in some perception of man with eyes still blinded by errors injected by false teachings, Bible is still wanting, but in reality is it perfect and complete.

That is why fault is found if the Scripture is interpreted privately, the same thing you did in Acts of the Apostles, 2:38-41. First and foremost, no apostles of God baptized an infant and children. For they understand that children are heirs of kingdom of heaven.

Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Apostles baptized those who heard and received their preachings.

Act 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

No account of infant baptism. Why?

Heb_5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

The promise mentioned in Acts is not a promise of baptism but the promise of everlasting life for those who will follow God's will.

1Jn_2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

You may not agree on this, but you may think of it, try to hear Bro. Eli's preaching and learn about baptism. You may ask him in a Bible Exposition if you prefer.

    31 Sinabi nga ni Jesus sa mga Judiong yaon na nagsisisampalataya sa kaniya, Kung kayo'y magsisipanatili sa aking salita, kung magkagayo'y tunay nga kayong mga alagad ko;

    Titus 1:16
They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.

    Tito 1:16Ang Dating Biblia (1905) (ADB1905)

I agree, with Mr. Controversey X, that these are the Anti-Christ.

Peace, love and unity are the works of the holy spirit that dwells in our hearts.

      Which one are you promoting?

  34. This is the sticking point: the Bible is sufficient but other so-called Christ-believers keep using ancillary references. The Bible is complete about the doctrine of salvation. In every respect, Mr. Controversy's stand is correct for that fact.

  54. Wow! This is a total refutation of catholic teachings and how they misinterpreted this verse
    JOHN 20:30
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

Note that those that were not written are “signs” or σημεῖον in Greek which means “miracles,” they are not teachings or instructions or words to believe and live by! Other things were not written are:
