Felix Manalo: The Last, the Late, or the Lost Messenger?

11/30/2019 20 Comments

One of the deceptive doctrines that the Iglesia ni Cristo of Manalo teaches their members, and even unsuspecting non-members, is that Felix Manalo is the last messenger in the last day. This particular claim was even published in their official magazine, Pasugo.

With frankness, I say that such is a big lie! Why? Because Christ is the end; He is the first and He is also the last. He said, “I am the Alpha and the Omega.”

It is Christ that God will send to get His servants who will be saved. That is written in the Bible — He is going to send Christ. If Felix Manalo is the last messenger, what is Christ’s work then?

Actually, the work of Christ isn’t over yet.

JOHN 4:32 (KJV) says,

But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.

What is the food or meat that He was referring to?

JOHN 4:34 (KJV) says,

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

His food is to do the will of the Father who has sent Him and to finish His work. His work is not yet finished. In fact, the work will still be in progress during the reign of Christ in the thousand-year period, wherein during that time, the last enemy He shall destroy is death.

He will be sent by God on earth to get His servants who will be saved. They will rule for a thousand years and afterward, He will bring them to the kingdom of heaven. So the work of Christ is not done yet.

The phrase “last messenger in the last day,” which they ascribed to Felix Manalo, has been wrongly used by the Iglesia ni Cristo. In the January 1976 issue of the Pasugo magazine of the INC of Manalo, this is what they’ve said:

“Brother Manalo is the true messenger of God in this last day. He has an election from God through the prophecy.”

In another Pasugo magazine, Lesson number 8 of the primary doctrines believed by the INC written by Eraño Manalo, it said:

“Brother Felix Manalo: Messenger of God on the Last Day”

That is very wrong!

JOHN 6:44 (KJV) says,

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Bear in mind that “the last day” is different from “the last days.” In the Bible, the “last day” is already the resurrection of the dead. So how can it happen that Manalo is the last messenger in the last day when the last day is already the resurrection of the dead? And since it is already the resurrection of the dead, to whom will Felix Manalo be sent? His being sent would be too late!

What the Bible tells us is that the Father will send Christ on earth to get His servants that would be saved and they will rule on earth for a thousand years. It is apparent that for the Church of Manalo, the one thousand-year reign of Christ and the saints on earth will not occur. Or perhaps, they are really ignorant of this biblical fact. That is why when they heard me say that Christ will rule on earth in the millennium, they spoke of me in their television broadcast with mockery and sarcasm.

Michael Sandoval: “I hope the members of the Old Path won’t get offended. I hope you did not fall from your seats when Soriano said that ‘the rule of Christ is here on earth.’ . . . How can that happen when this earth will be burned?”

When Christ comes, the earth will not be burned yet! Only after the millennium that the earth will be burned, but while the millennium is not yet over this earth remains. This earth will still be here.

The belief of the INC is that when Christ comes, it is already the end. But for us, the coming of Christ is not yet the end. It marks the first resurrection and the commencement of His one thousand-year reign. Those who will be resurrected when Christ comes will rule for a thousand years here on earth. Therefore this earth will still remain.

REVELATION 20:4 (KJV) says,

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

What will happen after the one thousand year-reign?

REVELATION 20:7-8 (KJV) says,

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

After the millennium, Satan will be loosed from prison. It must be understood that during that one thousand-year period, Satan is in prison.

REVELATION 20:1-3 (KJV) says,

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Satan will be cast into the bottomless pit where he will be shut up, and a seal will also be set upon him. But after the one thousand-year period, he will be freed.

What I am trying to point out is that the earth will continue to exist within the one thousand-year reign of Christ as well as those whom He will resurrect in the first resurrection.

REVELATION 5:8-10 (KJV) says,

8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

This is contrary to the belief of the INC minister, Michael Sandoval, that when Christ shall come, this earth will already be burned. No, that is not true!

To further prove that this earth will remain, the Bible tells us that when Christ will come, one will be taken and the other will be left, as it is written in Matthew 24:40-41 (KJV).

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

When the time that Christ will come to take His saints, some will be left. So, the earth will continue to exist because some will be left here.

Actually, one of the most wonderful things that is going to happen on earth during the one thousand-year period is the preaching of the Gospel in all nations, freely. Nowadays, we still cannot preach the Gospel to the whole world. There are nations where you cannot preach the Bible, otherwise you will be killed. here are also places on earth wherein Christ is not being acknowledged. But when the millennium begins, nothing can hinder the preaching of the Gospel to the whole world anymore. Come the one thousand-year period, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (Matthew 24:14, KJV) That will be the end of the thousand-year period; the end of the world.

So the destruction of the earth will happen only after the millennium, not during the coming of Christ, as what is believed by INC ministers.

Very clearly, the belief that the earth will already be burned when Christ comes is just one of the many erroneous teachings of the INC of Manalo.

In addition, they also teach their members lies — one of which concerns the actual year when their organization really started. They were claiming that the INC of Manalo started on July 27, 1914, but in truth, their organization really started in 1913, and I have the documents to prove it.

I have a copy of an invitation which states that they were already celebrating their fifth anniversary during that year, the year 1918.

Church of Christ
Manila, December 1918

Life and peace.

Gentlemen, we respectfully invite your honor to the celebration of the thanksgiving for the FIFTH YEAR of existence of the “IGLESIA NI KRISTO” in the Philippines and the LAYING ON OF HANDS on Brother Felix Manalo as pastor and minister of the church. It will be held on Sine “Gloria”, number 1649 Sande Street, Tondo (Manila) on the 25th of December of this year at eight in the morning.

We are hoping that your honor will grace our celebration on the said date and hour.

Respectfully,
Ustino Casanova
Teodoro Santiago
Federico Inocencio

Who would lay hands on Felix Manalo? From the same pamphlet, it said:

“The laying on of hands on Brother Felix Manalo will be done by bishops and pastors of different churches in the island and these are Alejandro Reyes, Victoriano Mariano, Gil Domingo, Guillermo Zarco, Nicolás Fajardo, Emiliano Quijano and Roque Bautista.”

The laying on of hands was performed by bishops and pastors from different churches. What does the laying on of hands mean? It means the giving of authority. Therefore, the ones who gave Felix Manalo authority were the bishops and pastors from different churches.

So, how can Felix Manalo be a messenger of God when the ones who laid hands on him were bishops and pastors whom he himself later referred to as ministers of the devil? In fact, Manalo even admonished his members to reject such priests and pastors because they were of the devil or Satan.

In the August 1961 issue of their Pasugo, page 39, Manalo said,

“At the end of this publication we should reject Catholic priests and Protestant pastors for they are ministers of Satan.”

It shows Manalo’s lack of gratitude to those pastors who laid hands on him. After laying hands on him, after receiving authority from them, Manalo wanted his members to reject Catholic priests and Protestant pastors because they are of Satan.

But the thing that I want you to take note of is the laying on of hands to Manalo, which happened in 1918 and took place in the celebration of their fifth anniversary. Hence, simple arithmetic will prove that the INC actually started in 1913, and not 1914.

Another document said:

“Felix Manalo began fulfilling the prophecy for God about his last messenger who will emerge in the far east at the time called ‘ends of the earth.’ He first introduced the church to the workers of Atlantic Gulf and Pacific Company. The first fruits of his were baptized at the Pasig River in late 1913.”

How could he have possibly baptized his first converts in 1913 if they started to exist only in 1914? If it is true that the INC started in 1914, how come the first fruits of Manalo’s preaching were baptized in 1913? Nonsense! To claim that their organization, Iglesia ni Cristo of Manalo, started to exist in 1914 is another big lie!

Aside from that, the ministers of the INC of Manalo are also making their members believe that the spirit of God dwells in their chapels or houses of worship.

Caption of the photo says, “We are summoned by the Lord God to serve Him in the Body or the Church of Christ. We have to worship Him in the house where His Spirit dwells, like the modern house of worship pictured above.”

Again, that is not true! That is against what the Apostle Paul said. Saint Paul said that God does not dwell in temples made with hands (Acts 17:24). Instead, God dwells in the heart of man.

The Apostle Paul told the brethren, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16, KJV) He did not say, “Don’t you know that we have a temple in Diliman and the Spirit of God dwells there?” NO! To say that the Spirit of God dwells in their chapel is against the Bible!

Perhaps I am the only preacher who has pieces of evidence of the INC’s lies and contradicting teachings. I have newspaper clippings which were collected by Bro. Nicolas Perez, and they were later entrusted to me; and I also have copies of their Pasugo magazine from 1939. I use all these references to expose their unbiblical doctrines to enlighten the minds of people so that they will not be deceived anymore. That is why they are very angry with me and they are using their resources and connections not only to discredit me, but to silence me as well.

But my battle is not a carnal battle. My battle is to uphold the truth that the Bible teaches. And with God’s help, I am willing to fight this battle until the end.

Why Did Some People Live Long and Peacefully?

11/23/2019 , 9 Comments

Why God permits early death

Today, we live in an era where we can say that the wickedness of man has escalated to a certain level never imagined before. This being the case, an ordinary person sometimes asks why God still allows evildoers to live much longer. Why doesn’t He just annihilate them, or wipe them out of the face of the Earth? And instead of them, why not let the righteous ones thrive and enjoy long and peaceful lives?

If we are going to refer to the Bible, Psalm 90:10 (KJV) mentions the possible lifespan of a person. It says,

The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

A person may possibly live until he is seventy or eighty years old, depending on his bodily strength.

But aside from physical strength, another contributory factor to a person’s having a long life is his fear in God.

As written in Proverbs 10:27 (KJV),

The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

Therefore, God may prolong the life of a person if he is God-fearing.

However, this is not always the case. Not all who enjoy long lives are God-fearing people. There are also cases wherein God lets the wicked live longer because He is giving them chances to repent and to change so that they’ll also have a chance to salvation. God doesn’t take away their lives just yet despite their wickedness because He wants them to come to repentance.

Now, if there are wicked people who live long, there are also upright and righteous people who die young. In the Bible, there are righteous people who died early like John the Baptist and the Lord Jesus Christ, who both died before reaching the age of thirty-four; the same goes for the Apostle James, who also died young.

But aside from these biblical personalities, we are also aware of stories of innocent babes who die in the wombs of their mothers; others die during infancy due to congenital diseases, or sometimes due to the negligence and cruelty of other people.

The question that many ask is, why does God permit the early death of the righteous and the innocent?

Isaiah 57:1 (KJV) says,

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

There are times when God takes away the life of a good or righteous person quite early in order to spare him from the evil that is to come later on. Apparently, this is God’s gesture of compassion and mercy to him as He doesn’t want him to be affected or to be corrupted by the evil that is about to come.

On the other hand, God extends or prolongs the lives of those who are disobedient to Him because He is giving them chances to repent and change, which is also a gesture of His love and mercy toward them.

2 Peter 3:9 (KJV) says,

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God doesn’t want anyone to perish, that is why He gives the wicked chances to come to repentance for them to be saved.

We always have to remember that God is love; He is just and merciful. Should He take away the life of a righteous person early, or should He prolong the life of a wicked person, we can be sure that there is a valid reason behind it. And it is not for us to question His discretion. But we can be certain that whatever His decision is, it is always prompted by justice, love, and mercy.

Children Should be Grateful to Their Parents

Dealing with ungrateful children the Christian way

Why are some children unappreciative of the sacrifices being made by their parents? Why is it that many of them do not even have a sense of gratitude?

Having unappreciative and ungrateful children is something that makes parents think that they are a failure in what they have done, and what they do, are still not enough.

In life, there are certain realities that we have to accept. First, you cannot really please everybody, and second, not everybody has a sense of gratitude.

We have to accept the fact that while there are people who acknowledge and give importance to every favor and good deed done unto them, there are also those who never show thankfulness and appreciation at all — even if you give them everything that you have. Why? It is either they are not yet satisfied with what you have done and given them, or they are simply ungrateful.

One Filipino song goes, “Kahit konting pagtingin kung manggagaling sa‘yo ay labis ko nang ligaya dahil sa ikaw ay mahal ko.” [Even a little love that will come from you will give me immense joy because I love you.]

For somebody who loves, even a small amount of love coming from his loved one is enough to make him or her happy. That small amount of love is very much appreciated. Similarly, for parents who deeply love their children, a simple gesture of appreciation for that love, coming from the children, is enough to brighten up their day, because that simple gesture of appreciation manifests that they also love them.

If both love and kindness are given to somebody who loves you, surely that person would be appreciative. And surely, too, that person will reciprocate, meaning, you will be loved back, and your kindness will be valued.

So, if your children love you they will not take for granted each act of kindness, big or small, as well as your every gesture of love. Instead, they will always be thankful and grateful to you. And they will give you love and show you kindness in return.

But if your children do not reciprocate the love that you give them, if they do not show you gratefulness and appreciation for all the good things that you have done to them, it only means that they do not love you.

It is a sad reality but there are really people who are inherently unthankful.

LUKE 6:35 (KJV) says,

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Thankfulness is a manifestation of gratefulness. Hence, to be unthankful is to be ungrateful, and you can never please people of this kind.

However, God commanded us to be thankful.

COLOSSIANS 3:15 (KJV) says,

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

It is very important that we show gratitude even for the smallest acts of kindness rendered unto us. If you have a sense of gratitude, if you have love for others, especially to your parents, you will never fail to acknowledge their good deeds and sacrifices.

To hear a mother lament for her child’s ungratefulness is something that really pricks my heart because I know how much a mother sacrifices for her child.

Since my childhood, I have been suffering from asthma. I remember whenever I had asthma attacks my mother would do everything to ease my suffering. She would run her hands on my back as I gasped for breath; and she was always by my side, watching over me. I would forever be grateful to her for her love and sacrifices.

That is why I pity mothers whose children do not show them any gratitude. It implies that their children do not love them enough.

I also have children and grandchildren so I know the joy it brings a parent if his good deeds are being appreciated. Every parent wants to give everything that his beloved son or daughter desires, to the point that sometimes, in order to buy it, he has to make certain sacrifices like setting aside his personal needs. Sometimes, even if he craves a particular food he wouldn’t buy it because he is saving the money for the thing that his child wants.

Sadly, some children do not realize the sacrifices that their parents have to make, their mothers especially, just to make them happy.

It is, indeed, very disappointing to see children who seem to have forgotten and are taking for granted their mothers’ hardships in raising them. They do not acknowledge their mothers’ sleepless nights, monitoring their condition, whenever they were sick and the nights that their mothers had to wake up even during the wee hours just to feed them when they were still babies. And most especially the travails that mothers went through during their pregnancy up to the day they gave birth to their children, where throughout that period their lives were in peril.

And what is very disheartening is that when they grow up, they even become disrespectful.

If you happen to be one of these children who hardly show love and gratitude to their parents, I advise you to change. Love your parents while you still have the opportunity. Do not wait for the time that you would be showering them with love but they are no longer capable of feeling it. Now is the right time to make them feel how important they are to you.

But children of this kind are not a hopeless case yet. There is still a great chance that they will change for the better. From being disrespectful, disobedient, ungrateful, selfish, and uncaring, they may still become respectful, obedient, grateful, and loving children. How? If only their parents will introduce them to the word of God and the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ at the earliest possible time. The word of God can work wonders; it can easily mold and refine the character of children.

By listening to the teachings of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, with God’s help, these children would realize their great indebtedness to their parents as well as the rightful way of treating them. They will develop a sense of gratitude and they will become more appreciative of their parents’ sacrifices.

And most of all, they will become grateful and thankful not only to their parents but also to God.

Sign of the Cross: A Catholic Practice Without Biblical Basis

11/08/2019 16 Comments

Is The Catholic Sign of The Cross Biblical

The members of the Catholic Church are distinguished from the members of other religious denominations by their adherence not only to idol worship but also to certain rituals and practices which they, themselves, do not have a clear understanding of. One example of this is the sign of the cross.

Why do Catholics make the sign of the cross? What is the sign of the cross all about?

First of all, let me make it clear that making the sign of the cross is not a commandment of God. Catholics should not even be doing it because it is wrong.

According to the book on the catechism of the Catholic Church, making the sign of the cross is a prayer for deliverance from their enemies.

It says,

And tanda ng Santa Krus
Ang ipagadya mo sa amin, Panginoon naming Dios
Sa mga kaaway namin
Sa ngalan ng Ama, at ng Anak,
At ng Espiritu Santo. Siya nawa

Another Catholic book, Discourses on the Apostle’s Creed, even stressed the formidable power of the sign of the cross.

It says,

And St. Teresa states that Satan had no power over the cross, nor over any object over which the sign of the cross has been traced. It is the Christian’s strongest and most powerful weapon against Satan.

They said, according to Saint Teresa, the most powerful weapon in winning over Satan is the sign of the cross because he (Satan) has no power over the cross and over other objects onto which the sign of the cross has been traced.

The question is, who is this Saint Teresa that they were talking about? She was not even a preacher of Christ! And yet the Catholic Church is banking on what she said.

However, members of the Catholic Church seem to be confused as to when they are supposed to make the sign of the cross and what should their intent be in making one.

Practically on all occasions, you see Catholics make the sign of the cross. Whenever they perceive danger lurking or when they feel the presence of an evil spirit, they make the sign of the cross. Whenever they are terrified by roaring thunder and streaks of lightning, or whenever they are scared by ghosts, they also make the sign of the cross because they want to be delivered from impending danger.

Now, if making the sign of the cross means they are praying for their deliverance from the enemy, and that it is a very powerful weapon against Satan, as stated in their books, why is it that Catholics also make the sign of the cross whenever they see the statue of Mary, either inside the church or during processions? Does it mean that Mary is their enemy and they are praying to be delivered from her?

Why do they make the sign of the cross whenever they pass by a church? Are the minions of Satan there and do they want to be delivered from them? Is the enemy there, too?

Before eating, they also make the sign of the cross. Why? Is the devil also in the food that they are about to eat?

What is worse is that the sign of the cross is also being made by people who do evil things. They make the sign of the cross, not to pray for deliverance from evil, but for success in executing their evil acts.

A thief makes the sign of the cross first before robbing a certain household.

In boxing matches, a boxer, whose ultimate objective is to give his opponent deadly punches, also makes the sign of the cross before the fight starts. And when he finally knocks out his opponent, he makes another sign of the cross. On such an occasion, how are you going to interpret the boxer’s sign of the cross?

A pickpocket who succeeded in stealing the contents of a woman’s bag also made the sign of the cross before fleeing.

Is the sign of the cross really a prayer for deliverance from evil? If so, why do Catholics make the sign of the cross even in front of what they consider holy and sacred, like churches and statues of Mary, and of their other saints? Why do they make the sign of the cross before and after doing unlawful acts? Or, is the sign of the cross an expression of joy and thankfulness for successfully carrying out an evil act?

Beloved Catholics, I am calling your attention. Please try to ponder all these things. I am sure that you understand the point that I am trying to drive at. Just do not forget, making the sign of the cross is not a commandment of God. MAY GOD BLESS YOU!

Believing Paradise on Earth? You Must Be Misled

11/02/2019 13 Comments

Why heaven is not located on earth

It is evident that people from different religions have a very vague, sometimes weird and illogical, notion of where Heaven, or Paradise, is. Some of them think that Heaven is right here on earth, while others presume that it is elsewhere.

Definitely, those who believe that Heaven and Paradise are right here on earth are grossly mistaken. We can say that such a belief could either be a product of their wild imaginations or a mere result of the false teachings that they’ve heard from their respective preachers who are ignorant of the Bible.

Please, do not believe the concocted stories of such people about heaven. Believe in what the Bible says instead. The Bible is reliable; it is precise, complete, and definite.

Actually, despite the attempts of some people to discredit the Bible, nobody has yet succeeded in disproving it. Science, archeology, and history have proven that the Bible is authentic and it speaks of the truth. It is because it came from God.

Indeed, the Bible mentions that Heaven exists.

GENESIS 1:6-8 (KJV) says,

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

The firmament being referred to in the verses above is the heaven that we know; it is the vast space that we see above. But we have to understand that there are three heavens in the Bible, and the highest of these three is the third heaven, in which is what we call Paradise.

Paradise in the third heaven was attested by Apostle Paul.

2 CORINTHIANS 12:2, 4 (KJV) says,

2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

The Apostle Paul was caught up (in spirit) to the third heaven, where Paradise is. It is the very kingdom that was promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to those who will be saved. The Bible also calls it the New Jerusalem. And it is not here on earth!

There is no truth to the claim of Apollo Quiboloy that the New Jerusalem is in Davao. That is not true; do not believe him!

But long before Quiboloy made that stupid claim, other religions like the Jehovah’s Witnesses have already been fooling many people that Paradise is here on earth.

That is a lie! Paradise is in heaven; it is the place where the throne of God is situated.

REVELATIONS 22:1-2 (KJV) says,

1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

When John was caught up to the third heaven, he saw the throne of God, from where a pure river of water of life was flowing. He also saw that on the other side of the river was the tree of life.

According to REVELATION 2:7 (KJV), the tree of life is in Paradise.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Very clearly, from the account given by John, the throne of God, the tree of life, and the river of water of life are all in Paradise.

Are humans capable of determining how high the heavens are?

ISAIAH 55:8-9 (KJV) says,

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

The heavens are higher than the earth, according to the word of God. This pronouncement is something that has not been disproved by anybody until this day. In fact, until now, despite the sophisticated instruments in science, no scientist has ever come up with exact figures that would indicate how high heaven is from the earth. Even the Hubble Space Telescope failed to measure the distance of the heaven from the earth, not even the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) which is a more powerful telescope as it could reach as far as 13 billion light-years from the earth.

God said: “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” That is why up to now, nobody has ever reached heaven.

Heaven and Paradise are not in this world. Remember what the thief told the Lord Jesus Christ while they were both suffering in the cross? The thief said, “. . . Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” (LUKE 23:42, KJV)

If it were true that Paradise is here on earth, why would the thief still ask Christ to remember him when He comes to His kingdom, or to Paradise?

If it were true that Paradise is here on earth, then, the Lord Jesus Christ should have corrected the utterance of the thief. He should have told the thief, “Don’t worry, both of us are already in Paradise.”

But instead, the Lord Jesus Christ answered the thief, “. . . Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” (LUKE 23:43, KJV)

This clearly proves that Paradise is in another place. It is somewhere outside this world.

For you not to be misled, believe in the word of God. Do not believe the Jehovah’s Witnesses; do not believe Quiboloy. Paradise, or the New Jerusalem, is not here on this earth, and more so, it is not in Davao. That is a big falsehood.

Do not entertain incongruous stories about Heaven, or Paradise, which were invented by false prophets. It is best to believe in God and in His words, which are recorded in the Bible. If you do this, you will never be deceived and you will never go wrong. And most of all, you will never believe that Paradise is here on Earth because the Bible tells us that it is in the third heaven.
