God is Not Everywhere

omnipresence of God is unbiblical

The word ‘omnipresent’ is never found in the original languages used to write the word of God in the Bible. Although it is possible that later translations, which were translated according to the religious inclination of the translator, may have it. We are lucky to have manuscripts of the scriptures dating as far back as the 1st and 2nd century of the Christian era (See image below). The advent of the computer age made it easier to search the entire Bible in just a click of a keypad.

Nobody can ever (in this age) understand the whole being of God.

ISAIAH 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

As the heaven is unfathomable, God’s thinking and ways are like the unfathomable heavens by earthlings.

We are not allowed by any authority in the Bible to ascribe anything to God, whether it seems like adding honor and glory to Him! Why? God does not change. He is infinitely the same from everlasting to everlasting.

JAMES 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

The teachings of the deceived Mormon’s that God is a person just like us in the beginning; and only attained exaltation is biblically false.

We cannot add to His glory by our belief; nor diminish it by our unbelief.

THE ROMANS 3:3-4
3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

God is limited to being true and faithful, He cannot lie! Im not putting limit unto Him, His words say so. It is impossible for Him to lie!

TITUS 1:2
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

HEBREWS 6:18
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

We know that God is a spirit because our teacher from heaven said so.

JOHN 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

He is love because it was written.

I JOHN 4:16, 8
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

He is a consuming fire.

HEBREWS 12:29
For our God is a consuming fire.

He is compassionate and ever loving.

PSALMS 103:14
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

He is good.

PSALMS 100:3-5
3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

He sits in yonder heavens and Jesus, our Lord, sits at the right hand of His majesty.

COLOSSIANS 3:1
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

HEBREWS 8:1
Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

One strict teaching of the Bible is for us to accept the word of God as it is. Nothing must be added or taken away.

REVELATION 22:18-19
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

JEREMIAH 26:2
Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD's house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:

PROVERBS 30:5-6
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

The Bible says that the eyes of God are everywhere.

PROVERBS 15:3
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

If God is everywhere, as other religions claim, the Bible should not have said that the eyes of the Lord are in every place. It will contradict the law of logic. Does it mean that the eyes of God, His very eyes, are everywhere? Of course, not! His eyes are in His being; but can see even beyond the material universe we know.

God is in heaven, according to the prayer taught by our Lord Jesus Christ to the disciples.

MATTHEW 6:9-13
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

God is not in a place where there are evil strife and envy.

JAMES 3:16, 15
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

He is not where confusion dwells.

I CORINTHIANS 14:33
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

It is an insult to God for anybody to say that He is everywhere. The disrespectful are trying to drag God to every place they want Him to be: In the casinos? The prostitution dens? In the place of demons? God forbids! This is the teaching of the misled, the blinded, and the wicked.

THE ACTS 17:24
God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

He even left His chosen nation, Israel, when they turned to be wicked.

II CHRONICLES 15:3
Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.

But when they were following His statutes and judgments, God was with them, and not in any nation on earth.

II KINGS 5:15
And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

To my readers, are you one of those who are trying to discredit God by ascribing to Him false qualities that He does not ascribe to Himself? God forbids!

JOB 13:7
Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?

My God — the Almighty God — is not in a heart that deceives people like other religious leaders. Praise be unto Him forever and ever. Amen!

God Bless.

Brother Eli Soriano

  1. Wow! What an enlightening and informative read! God is really not everywhere as opposed to the popular belief that He is. I hope this blog reaches everyone! I believe that they, too, will believe that God is not everywhere after reading this blog.

Thanks be to God, Mr. Controversy!

  3. Most or even all Pastors of different religions have the same belief that God is everywhere. I thank God that He has taken me out of those false belief. I thank Him that He wanted me to serve Him in Spirit and in Truth. And I thank God for hearing your preaching/teachings of His Word. To God be the glory.

  4. I was before a believer of this such wrong faith. I thought that the God of the Bible is everywhere without considering the entire doctrine of God's truth. Being a Catholic and Born Again at the same time teaches not the exactness of God's being in accordance to His holy word. I wish, my fellow co-members of those churches before hear the preaching that I am hearing right now. Now, thanks be to God! I have accepted His undefiled and pure teachings wholeheartedly and with faith— only in one true Church. #GodIsInHeavenNotEverywhere

  5. God is everywhere will mean he'll be at every space! When bro. Eli explained it I was corrected to my false belief. I wasn't aware the doctrine will mean illogical that he can be found in the space of our body or anywhere disgusted place. The teaching is foolish!

  18. Another cliché belief is that “God is everywhere”, Thanks be to God on this blog, another enlightenment against ignorance and distortion of the truth. ‘’ God is not in a place where there are evil strife and envy. He is not where confusion dwells. e. The disrespectful are trying to drag God to every place they want Him to be: In the casinos? The prostitution dens? In the place of demons?”

  21. I believe that God is not everywhere and I hope this message reaches everyone. Just the fact that there are places full of evil strife, envy and confusion proves that God cannot be everywhere.

Thanks be to God for another enlightening blog! Super interesting. Learned a lot!

  32. When we think of God's infinite power the Bible informs us to look into his creations and contemplate the vastness of this universe! Then we concluded in our heart that nothing is impossible to Him. When everyone is praying for help at the same time and was given help, then, we concluded that He is everywhere. The Bible has said nothing about it but His eyes are everywhere. He has given us this bible in order that He can be little understood but still very few were given understanding. I have only noticed one thing when Jesus said to anyone he persformed miracles, " do you have faith, so be done accordingly".

  33. ...one way to deceive people of 10 % tithes is telling people that God is everywhere...even God is beside you in giving your tithes...hehehe...

  34. For catholic guy, Jer. 23:24, I think you should read back and notice the verse that God is asking anyone who can hide from his eyes. Notice the word, his "eyes". Then, the word "fill" is synonymous to "pour",(Joel 2:28),therefore, it's safe to say his spirits fills heavens and earth. Your omnipresent doctrine is still not biblical!

  38. ...sino ang nagsasabing "God is everywhere" kundi yong mga pastor na di nakakaalam ng bible at salita ng Dios...

    ReplyDelete
  39. How would that verse be wrong, mr. Arvin? Psalm 139: 7-8 speak of the same thought as Jer. 23: 24. (Are you the same guy as mr Catholic?). His Spirit encompass everyplace as his eyes. This is how God sees everything. The Bible informs the readers Devine technology how he monitors everyplace. ( I would like to put it this analogy). If man can able to install cameras at every place so that he can be at the same time any where to know what's going on, God is even better to do it! Why do you want him personally be at everyplace?
